My god it's beautiful - now to paint?
@Rhopunzel
@Benjo471 I certainly am proud! I'm just puzzled about this particular outcome as well.
@gavanw We did hire a guy, sent out thousands of contacts. Though perhaps we should have done it more intensively at the end. But still - 1 review only? It feels like this can't explain such a disparity.
@Beliskner504 The thing is, RPS was actually one of the few sites that did review it!
@RKade8583 FYI - Down-res may not be necessary; you can use UI scaling to make things bigger.
Look forward to the vid.
@folexe ああ、本当ですか。知らなかった。教えてくれてありがとう。今このレビューを読んで勉強できる :D
@RKade8583 I'm appreciative of anyone who takes the time to give a thought-through opinion :)
A few mods may be relevant for you:
I hope paused-control and mouse-only control makes RW quite accessible, though there is a lot of text and fine visual information.
@Christopher_Odd Moreso during the game's earlier release phase. At this point it seems pretty much saturated. And it's hard to see that making such a *huge* difference... I mean I'd expect Gamespot/IGN/major website X to not need this.
@mcmaster I appreciate you taking the time to render an opinion!
@Christopher_Odd The same would apply to Prison Architect, but didn't.
@josselinjp Awesome :) Yeah there are a few other reviews not listed on . @rockpapershot reviewed it. So did GameStar (major German magazine).
I'm just using the gamerankings numbers as a comparison point.
@lemmy101 It's actually hard to tell. There are counterexamples for every theory I can think of.
E.g. Star Control Origins has 12 critic reviews (and only 749 on Steam).
@Vilobion FTL was the first from Subset, it has 26 reviews.
Game websites seem to have declined to review RimWorld (per ).
Review counts: -Prison Architect: 26980 Steam (93%), 21 critic -Into the Breach: 4271 Steam (92%), 23 critic -RimWorld: 23132 Steam (97%), 1 critic
What could explain this?
@FreyaTail I do remember the character well, not sure why it would disappear. We'll need to look you up in the system. Please contact [email protected] with your purchase email address.
@GameOnGardner Youtuber EDM Any "simulator" game
@ReathRoch: RIMWORLD ARTS
This is a good one. My favorite is the total non-reaction in the last panel... no words needed.
@mode7games Write some code to record every instance of a bark opportunity with all the context data. Have many testers play with it. Centralize all the data in a server somewhere and analyze it to figure out which combinations of circumstances need what amount of coverage.
@beccaellenhall I believe so, but can't recall exactly.
