Difficulty does scale properly. It may all depend on how you approach the game. If you play like you would in L4D or B4B then you're going to find things extremely difficult even at the easier levels.
This game requires a much more tactical, coordinated approach
You need to complete Incursions with other Operators. After each Incursion, your injured Ops will regain HP based on how well you did in that Incursion.
For MIA Ops, you need to return to the Map where you lost them and will need to rescue them.

It's always a good idea to destroy all Nests you can. One Howl and all those ones you left will be alerted and start spawning enemies!

It's a technical limitation. Premium Currency purchased on different platforms are not transferable between platforms.
However, remember that your inventory does transfer thanks to cross-progression so anything you purchase on one platform will be in your inventory on any others you have the game on.
Playing on PC via Game pass, game loads on my secondary portrait monitor, can't change the monitor in the display section of the options.
Changing the game to windowed then dragging it to my main monitor, then setting back to full screen just sends the game back to my portrait monitor.

Loadouts in Extraction are based on an Operators CTU for the most part so it's not as strict as in Siege!
