I don't believe the reward not showing is intentional. That is being reported at the moment, as it isn't showing up for me either.

u/UbiTone A couple questions:

• Why aren't news articles and such being posted on Reddit and the forums by the CMs?
• Will the bug with the reward be fixed?
• When will we get to see what character and weapon customization is like in the game? I hope this will be shown before the beta preorder period ends (September 3) so people who are waiting on that to decide (like myself) don't miss out on the beta

For me it kind of destroys giving each member of the squad a purpose, a marksman, LMG support player, assault player and so on, now most people just run a sniper rifle and an automatic weapon making each player a one man army at all ranges, losing the need for teamwork and tactics.
