UPDATE:

There's a software update for PS4 live now. It addresses the issue with the disc version of Cyberpunk 2077 not launching on PS4 after installing the latest game patch. Please make sure to update your system.

The crash is most likely caused by audio software conflict. So far we've identified this issue with audio drivers such as A-Volute, Nahimic or Sonic Studio. We're currently investigating.

Meanwhile, as a temporary solution, we recommend disabling said drivers before launching the game. You can also try following the steps we described in this article:

Beside Nahimic, so far we've identified this issue also with audio drivers such as A-Volute or Sonic Studio. We're currently investigating.

One thing I get asked a lot is who my hero was growing up. Usually it’s your mom or dad, some heavyweight champ or a BD star. Well, I didn’t have a lot of role models to choose from. The hotfix was implemented in such a way that users who didn't have AVX-related problems shouldn't notice any difference.

We released a hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC. It removes the use of AVX instruction set from the game executable which prevents crashes that occurred on older processors not supporting AVX. Game version is not changed by this hotfix and remains 1.3.
