Remember to play during peak times in your local region. For most players this is around 6 PM to Midnight in their local time.

Jeff Kaplan has responded a couple times about this explaining that the small map size of Overwatch makes this somewhat unneeded.

I am investigating this. Prior to Echo the rule has always been to give 2 weeks before making a hero available for Competitive Play, obviously my post from the Hero Pool draw is in contradiction and I apologize.

Why not make the Contender Skins available?

Please take this as feedback that players really want to to collect the other Overwatch Esports skins including the Overwatch League Gray skins, Contenders Home and Away, and even the World Cup skins. I see these threads all of the time in the forums.

Whether these skins are purchased for OWL tokens or not is one thing, and honestly I rather see them obtainable in a way that helps promote viewership on Overwatch Contenders.

Players are also asking me if there is any progress to getting viewership rewards working for YouTube, especially for OWL tokens for watching Overwatch League.

Hey Kierkegaard, there is no embedded video export options for full-fledged replays at this time. You can share the import code so that a different person can log onto Overwatch and watch the replay from their game client.

As always you can record and export gameplay from the replays to video by using software such as GeForce Experience Shadowplay (for NVidia GTX/RTX graphic card owners), ReLive (for AMD Radeon Graphic Card owners), or Open Broadcasting Software (a free streaming recording software that is available).

As constructive feedback, I think it will be important to make sure there is a written reminder in the Report Replay dialog to specifically state its only for vulgar content. Right now the only thing that shows is just the code field to report that code without any real instructions. That or make sure the report code only works for a game that took place in Custom...

I think some people would love a one-way feedback form. Something similar to what World of Warcraft has:

I have a feeling this will go live for season 21 as they intend, but by having on the PTR we’ll be able to give initial feedback which will help them make better decisions on when to rotate heroes to make season 21 more consistent.

And I can safely say unlike my role queue fiasco last August, that PTR Competitive is not connected to your actual live hidden MMR. But please try not to throw too much though…

I am glad to see that Hero Pools will be tested in the PTR prior to the start of Season 21.

By the ways, to make it look like you typed less than 20 characters follow this format (note the HTML comment tag just below the word), but technically you still have to type 20 characters if you think about it:

Jeff, with the implementation of hero pools, I fear this may have some amplified effect toward disruptive behavior where players may leave Competitive matches deliberately especially if they feel they can’t pick the heroes they want that they think gives them the best chance to win. So I have two questions:

  1. Will the hero pool be displayed upfront each week (like how there is a pop-up detailing the season when a new Competitive Season starts) and players can check it before they queue?

  2. Will there be any further plans to help deter bad leaver behavior in Overwatch?

For example, there was a game I played last night where it was very likely one of my opponents left due to rage quitting leaving an easy and unsatisfactory win for my team. I feel there still can be some stronger deterrents to bad leaver behavior (from all game modes) and discourage players from playing Competitive with technical issues.

As one of the forum MVPs, ...
