We’re ready to reveal ARK's roadmap for the next year, covering various game-related initiatives, new platforms, and media. The community’s support continues to be incredibly humbling and inspiring for the team, and that enthusiasm helps drive us toward creating the ultimate survival franchise. What we’ve planned has changed due to many shifting factors, but we believe it will ultimately provide the most fun and excitement for everyone who enjoys ARK.

We're excited to announce that we're rerunning a popular community contest, where players can submit their own dinosaur ideas to be added to ARK.

We've seen some incredible fan-made designs and creature submissions in pasts contests so we can't wait to see what you come up with this time. It's been a joy to watch the community participate in TSOTF matches this past week! We've seen several nail-biting matches and clever uses of the new mechanics that TSOTF provides. It is a memorable experience for us to watch these high-intensity matches play out on a grand scale. Who’d imagine we’d see little dilos, monkeys, and small creatures being mind-controlled at end-game!? We'd also like to give a nod to the ARK content creation community for keeping our screens full of nonstop entertainment.

Since the original launch on Friday, Dec 23rd, balance changes have been made to several creatures including Thylacoleo, Rhino, Triceratops, Carcharodontosaurus, and Dragon. Survival of the Fittest is making a triumphant return!  Initially launched in 2016 as an intro into the competitive gaming space, Survival of the Fittest pits combatants in an action-packed struggle for survival where players assemble their Dino armies towards an epic final showdown in which one tribe makes it out alive.  SotF, even in its infancy stage, received tremendous support from the community with several valiant attempts by the modding community to revive the game mode.  We are excited to reintroduce The Survival of the Fittest - a Multiplayer Online Survival Arena in the ARK universe!

We're wrapping up another excellent ExtraLife event with the ARK community. On November 5th, we went live on Twitch from our Seattle Office for 24 hours to support ExtraLife, a program of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. With your help, we were able to raise over $130K in support of kids' health! We were able to shatter our individual and team donation goals, setting up this year's event to be another unforgettable one! Throughout the Game Day event, we maintained the #2 team in total donations and in the top 5 for individual donations!

The ARK community has helped us raise well over 500K for children in need with the completion of our 8th ExtraLife event!
