something that, yes, dives into the interesting and complex characters and lore in the game but, most importantly, explores human nature in all of its complexity in a way in which, I think, we can all resonate
When Jeremy first spoke with me about his initial concept for the show & the characters I knew I was about to be a part of something very special.
Not to mention the rest of the cast, they’re all amazing and it’s been such an honour to work with them, witness them breathe life into the characters, and to have them invested in our story.
@kdeveryjacobs lends such effortless joy and personality to Alasie and brings the character to life as an indigenous American. @cissyspeaks takes the Gladiatrix from the page and into the world with flair and her representation of her is not someone you'd want to mess with
Michelle Yeoh is a natural badass and a consummate professional. Gerard Butler is really invested in his character’s back story and brings a gruff gravitas to Nerva. David Tenant as the complex Rockwell just feels so right and gives me chills
Madeline Madden is such a warm and charismatic person who just got Helena from the get-go. She's the lynchpin of the show in many ways, and her heartfelt portrayal of an indigenous Australian is beautiful to witness. She IS Helena
Don’t even know where to begin with the incredible cast. The first voice recordings that came our way marked the point where I really felt like “okay this is going to land how we have hoped”. Russel Crowe contributed a lot creatively to his character and nails it in every aspect
The writers @KenFromSanta & @EvilMarguerite have hit it outta the park. I can’t say enough about Marguerite’s understanding of human emotion & her sensitive and heartfelt portrayal and representation of LGBTQ characters in Helena and others. It’s been thrilling to work with her!
The crew at @LexOtis have incredible talent in bringing the world to life, the characters, dinos, and animation are beautifully depicted. The number of times I've said "woooooow wtf!?". They're truly world-class.
