It wasn't me, but my well respected colleague /u/oliverCAndersen was involved in it. Something went wrong in the spawning logic where the hitbox wasn't moved correctly. Was tricky to reproduce but they were able to find a fix for it!
The real hero who created the fix was one of my colleagues, Christian! I assisted in testing and finding the problem that he then fixed :)

I don't have a fancy dev tag on my account but I'm also here upvoting stuff I find important and like (read: memes). I have the same nametag on twitter btw.
Please add an option for gun skin mirroring so we can avoid having to re-equip skins every time we change factions or we have to avoid using the skins we want to use because they don't match one or the other faction example: maybe I want to use green skins to match green soldier clothes on allies but I want to use a blue or red skin to match Ernst skin or other red/black axis skins. to do this I would have to change guns skins every time I switched factions.
