@cyromarley @PlayOverwatch It's messed up. I think online trolls will always exist though, trying to bait people into giving a reaction. It gives them a rush of power like they're in control when they feel powerless deep down. Their behavior needs moderation, temp ban then hard ban.

@WoodHSimon I was working from a macbook pro, but it only had 32gb ram, so I needed 64gb ram to run all my orchestral VST well... it's working fine now though because I'm running it in Rosetta mode so I don't get crashes anymore.

I tried to consult ChatGPT for advice on references for music for an area in Hytale. It suggested ten tracks by composers I know from games I've heard of. Great! Only thing is none of the songs actually existed and it was all completely made up.

@krohmusic Because often plugins are validated in Logic but aren't actually compatible. All my Plugin Alliance plugs are M1 supported, but not supported on Ventura, though, which I found out today... no wonder I got so many crashes with them.

@krohmusic Thanks! I downloaded something called Pluginfo from the app store which shows a list of all my installed plugins, the version and whether they're Intel 64, 32 or Apple Silicon supported. Really useful to understand which plugins are compatible or not.

@JM_Goldstein @LegacyEffects Loved how you used real effects and didn't CG it all! The costumes and masks etc looked awesome and made everything more fun

@JM_Goldstein I loved the new D&D movie, I thought it was great. In an interview, Chris Pine said there could be more films with the same actors, and I thought what if that was a new story with everyone's roles switched. Hugh Grant as the good guy, Chris Pine bad etc...

@krohmusic I think it's something with my plugins for sure. RIght now, if I try to open some plugins during playback, there's a high chance it'll go like "this plugin had an error" and I gotta click "recover" and it'll load a backup, reverting whatever I did in the past 2 mins.

@_Hawkon It's crazy to me that considering the CPU has 20 cores, that Logic crashes on a 20 track project. I had 15 crashes/freezes the other day. I've upgraded all my plugins/engines, but I'm getting a strong beta vibe from it all.

I recently upgraded my rig and got a Mac Studio with Ventura and latest version of Logic. Can't say I'm impressed yet considering Logic now crashes almost every time I try and save my projects. I work from Dropbox, so another 'feature' is that I can no longer see 'recent files'.
