We do play actually yes. However, not everyone's experience has been the same. Data like this can help both narrow some issues as well as give a hard number for the Dev team to see if the steps so far have improved for some players and if so which groups.

The system may be putting you against players from different regions due to needing to find suitable players. We went into detail about this in a recent blog post. We are looking to add a region lock this season

@OwenHezza Hello @OwenHezza , the cosmetic packs were ready to be published and just had to be applied on the live server, it didn't delay the dev work to fix the current issues.
We got messages from Players asking when the packs would be released, we applied this patch as it was ready :)
