Sometimes if I am really stuck and need a fresh perspective on an idea and long showers, scenery change and sleep hasnt managed to solve it I try sleep deprivation. Your mind can get into a really wierd state and new ideas shake out
@CountCristo42 @TheRambler146 cant do cool stuff while sleeping :P I have a pretty uneven sleep schedule where I sleep a lot on the weekend but 5-6h on weekdays. Mostly to get enough done with work/hobbies/commitments. I'm also sadly most productive at night.

@Arheo_ polling on something like this is for when you don't want to take direct responsibility, or are unsure, so its a bit of a weak move when one of your base goals is free speech.
@SteveOgre Depends a bit on the game and its business model, but starting early is good and if its for the team do it 1-2 months after release. Wait up to a year to publically post stuff though so you are sure you have an accurate picture of how it went
