We totally get it. This one really bummed me out so I wanted to drop by and share how disappointed I am that we’re not all in Playgrounds right now. It sucks for you to wait and it sucks for us to have to tell you there will be a wait. You all care so much about Fortnite and we want to get this right for you.

I guess this really isn’t aimed at the subreddit since this is all the stuff we’ve been hearing.
I would appreciate that if a topic is brought up we get solid info instead of just “we know and we’re talking about it”. That really doesn’t give us players any info, so might as well not even bring it up.
Like imagine if you owed a friend some money and you randomly call him up to say “hey, I know I owe you money still. Okay, bye”.
It's absolutely intended for folks here and what you're mentioning is something we talked about before shooting the video. We know until some of those things mentioned are addressed that you'll continue to tell us important. We want to make sure you know they are important to us, even though some of those things (perk reroll, AFK, Global Chat) are bigger pieces of work that will likely take some time.
That's rough. We've been discussing global chat recently. The current implementation doesn't completely hit the mark in terms of providing a valuable tool to group, find players with similar objectives, etc. I don't have a solution to share today. This is something we want to improve upon.

Good catch. Looks like we need to update that original post. Currently on track for tomorrow. We’re “coming in hot” as we sometimes do, but likely to land on Thursday. Aim is to have that scheduled this afternoon/evening to be able to share the specific downtime.

I think we can all accept that, not much choice not to. But this isn't the first time we've heard from y'all that a mistake was made and you have to do better. So do better how?
That's a fair question and I agree. The first thing we're doing is dedicating more community folks that can focus specifically on StW. The rapid growth of Fortnite has meant we've had our community team spread across the entire game. We've spent some time staffing up and Clintonious and Magyst are now dedicated to StW interaction. You'll still see Popo, Mooney, Flak, myself, etc. here. Having a couple of reliable folks to make sure things don't slip through the cracks will help.
