What kind of game is V Rising?
V Rising is an open-world vampire survival game that includes PvE, PvP, build, and crafting elements all wrapped up in a gothic horror setting.

What platforms is the game going to be released on?
V Rising is currently available with Steam on PC! http://store.steampowered.com/app/1604030/V_Rising/
There is currently no available information as to when or if V Rising will be available on consoles or if we’ll be providing controller support. We have certainly heard you that there is demand for both!
Is the game a multiplayer or solo experience?
V Rising is a mix of both! The game can be played individually or on private worlds, on player-run public worlds, as well as on our official public servers, which can hold up to 50 Vampires online at one time. This gives you plenty of room to play with and against others out in the world.
What are my options for servers if I want to play V Rising online?
Official public servers are the ones hosted by us and can be recognized by a light blue V Rising logo on the left side of their name. Servers can have many different kinds of settings, and Officials offer a handful of standard rulesets with varying levels of player hostility. These range from completely cooperative to full loot PvP with some less punishing options in between.
Public and private servers can also be hosted by players on their own PCs or through a service and allow players to have their own worlds with their own unique settings and themes. You can find a variety of servers available with different wipe schedules, raid settings, competitive formats, difficulty settings, and even roleplay.
To view a server’s settings, select it in the populated server list and look to the menu on the right side of the screen. All the necessary details will be available there.
Is it possible to play the game solo?
Yes! V Rising is designed to be a fully enjoyable solo experience, meaning you can take the game at your own pace if you like. You can play a private game, or even identify a server as LAN mode to play offline.
If there’s multiplayer and PVP, there’s got to be clans, right?
Exactly right! The current design of clans has them as smaller units, no more than four people for you to ally and share a castle with by default. Though this setting can be changed to be smaller or larger depending on the server settings.
What makes this a ‘Vampire’ game, exactly?
The mechanics of V Rising play pretty heavily into the gameplay. A day/night cycle with dynamic shadows during the day for you to navigate carefully. Drinking different kinds of blood to get different benefits. Kidnapping humans to keep in your dungeon! All the hits!
What perspective do you play the game from, and how does the camera work?
V Rising plays from a top-down perspective. The camera is slightly tilted with the ability to rotate 360°. This allows for great perspective and camera freedom.
Can you tell me more about the castles?
An essential component of V Rising is building and maintaining your castle. This is where you store things like crafting stations, supplies, and servants to help manage everything.
How much does the game cost?
V Rising is $19.99 USD/EUR in Early Access, with regional pricing available. At full launch the price is likely to go up, so take advantage of the low price and support us early!
Do the cosmetic DLCs for V Rising include Early Access?
V Rising Early Access is not included in the price of any of the cosmetic DLC packs, all DLC and V Rising Early Access are sold separately.

We have a player code of conduct that Vampires are expected to abide by for the benefit of keeping our players safe from particularly egregious behavior.
