This week, the team will be testing changes to flashes for a few of our Agents. And while the PBE is NA-only, it’s important to give a heads up to everyone. In short, we wanted to make some changes to sharpen the roles for Skye, KAY/O, Reyna, and Yoru (+ 5.01 Phoenix updates).

Initiators: Skye’s Guiding Light and KAY/O’s FLASH/DRIVE will change w/ the intent to increase their total teamplay output when coordinating w/ teammates, and decrease some of their power when played alone—but still reward mastering their respective flashes.

Duelists: You can expect changes to Reyna’s Leer that should provide more agency around when she can peek after casting, as well as sharpen the ability as a powerful angle-breaking tool against enemies on maps with longer sightlines.

Yoru’s update will add a slightly longer duration on his flash uses in an attempt to provide a power buff while keeping counterplay healthy even when used out of Dimensional Drift.

The goal is to make sure our Initiators aren’t outclassing some of our Duelists when it comes to generating kills for themselves off their flashes. As always, we’ll keep on eye on how the changes perform and adapt.
