[2021] I haven't played since shortly after WoM launched. How's the game now?

V2 quickly became one of my favorite games in the past several years. I started playing in Nov of 2018 and played it as my only game all the way until a few weeks into WoM's launch and took a break. WoM was good, but I felt it needed a lot of balancing and work, especially as someone who liked to try and get Cata runs in with pugs. Season 1 was, for lack of a better word, a mess.

I've been having the itch lately to slay some rats. How's the game now? I see there's a new Kruber class which is pretty sick since I love the Paladin aesthetic in video games.
