Fake news. It’s a shield/spear.

They come to the office, we chat, they take notes, and they do a write up. We don’t get to vet the write up before print, it’s up to them to present their notes. My guess is either we Swenglished or they misunderstood/miss-noted. Either way, it’s a Spear and Shield and not a Sword and Spear

Interesting, will be fun to test out the spear and shield. Can you comment on the throwing axes for bardin? Will they be able to be picked up after thrown? Or will they work like current ranged weapons, resupplied at ammo boxes.

I believe Martin covered it slightly in the Stream on Monday so hopefully I’m not overstating here, but oh well if I am! The plan right now at least is that they’re recoverable from the game world as opposed to from an ammo crate. Perhaps if they end up off a cliff or out of bounds, they can be recovered from a box or pouch but I’m not sure - that’d be speculation on my part.
