KNOWN ISSUE: "Access violation (0xc0000005)" Crash

This crash differs and is an Access Violation type crash. Did this crash occur when trying to launch Vermintide 2?

The exit code in the log “0xFA718003” and the error “Access Violation (0xc0000005)” usually point towards an issue with Anti-Virus/Firewall.

If you find that the crashing persists, then I recommend ensuring you have appropriate Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions in place. Please try adding following exceptions:

• vermintide2.exe in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries
• vermintide2_dx12.exe in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries_dx12
• EasyAntiCheat.exe in \Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat

Ah, that’s interesting to hear! As you’re not crashing on launch, then the exit/error codes in your logs may have been printed incorrectly then
