[2022] Start reading the Steam forums

I’m responsible for feedback sorting. It’s easier to track the forums through categories, and Steam forum users are only a specific segment of users (some nice, some not so nice–here is also a specific segment, but more on why we chose that segment in bit).

Ultimately, we want feedback to be in space that is good for developers and players to use and parse through. We look at Steam regularly, but for data parsing for this beta, we are using the forums so players can leave feedback without fear of other players dogpiling on them without reason.

We will be looking at Steam forums more heavily during launch.

The qualitative feedback is being collected here, so don’t worry, we’re hearing you! I’ll be leaving these forums open for the remainder of the week, so feel free to get any additional thoughts in.
