You were very much welcome until I found out you were calling people “a pile of shi*t” repeatedly in DMs for a mild ribbing in this very post (he didn’t DM you, you DMed him). I’ve given you a reprieve of these forums for a handful of months.

Hey Felix,

Unfortunately I don’t have the best news with this feature.

So we originally pulled this feature due to the UI being difficult to see on larger screens with the intent to redo it. Since then, the task has been back burnered with no real delivery date at this time. @FatsharkQuickpaw and I have vouched that it is in players’ best interest to incorporate the interface as-in on console, but are waiting on production decision on it; so that’s where we’re at with that. Once it gets approval, we can update you all further where it stands.

I believe you’re being trolled for your responses, Lou. I don’t agree with that, but do believe your ire needs to be taken down a notch. I’ve been polite towards you and expect similar.

I will look into your claim.

You’re welcome to take further conversation on how these forums are run with me into DMs.

Hey yup; the price was inputted in Euros and the platform interpreted that as USD. They should be the same price across the board ($9.99 if I’m remembering right). We’ll be switching it over soon.

I believe on PC at least, Twitch mode was made private only quite a while ago (but you can quick play and events, you’ll just be by yourself) unless you do some workarounds. Do these workarounds work for you on Xbox if you try?

Xbox and Playstation should be receiving the content updates we have planned for later this year (except Versus); so we’re working on that and have content for both platforms planned for 2024 (some of them really quite nice)! I can’t give a list without spoiling what that is, but there’s stuff cooking (like, actual gameplay content, not just tweaks and bugfixes), and you’ll see the next drop some time in early Q2, if all goes as planned.

As far as the Twitch mode, not sure why that’s not working for you all, so will flag.

I suspect it’s because Xbox and Playstation set their own sales figures (ergo, we generally don’t get to choose when a sale happens and at what %, it’s up to the platform to invite us to a sale, we can just tell them we have something special going on and want to participate), rather than us setting the sales % ourselves.

I was hired wayyyyy after that. WoM was in 2019, I came on in late 2021.

Strawhat is right though, there’s definitely things cooking, and the Darktide comms team will hopefully be able to share things soon once it has a nice sear on it (if I can continue to use the food analogy).

Not sure if I’m at liberty to share the numbers we see on live backend day to day, but I can post what I said earlier on Reddit as this line in the dev blog makes it seem like the amount of new players playing the alpha is larger than it is.

We were pretty open we sent out 10k keys pulled from who registered in our sign ups, of which the vast majority had 100+ hours, so the vast majority of those keys were players with 100+ hours. Whether they actually tested the game mode they signed up for and filled out the survey is a different matter entirely (activate your keys and do the surveys, folks!).

Brand new players, and players with lower hours have access to this game mode, too and it’s a playerbase we don’t get to hear too often from, so we felt it important to get their feedback as well, so we can make a game mode that works for veterans and new players.

I’d say it’s an apples to oranges scenario. They’re in the same group (fruit, for example), but they’re different items (different fruit). You should expect to engage in more melee mechanics in V2 than in Darktide, and most ranged will be used in a scenario with specials involved (maybe some elites depending on what you play). “Shields” do not regen, in the way you’re used to at least. Instead, depending on your talents, killing enemies will generate temp health that will decay unless replenished. The skill ceiling is near limitless and if you ever find yourself topping out, you can find mods in the workshop that make the game near impossible to beat, only limited by your CPU power.

Dodging will be your bread and butter as your block is limited. There’s less ranged enemies here, but once you get on solid footing, you can learn to dodge and attack at the same time to make the most of things. :slight_smile:...
