In October 1938, 82 years ago, the Dewoitine D.520 made its first flight. Designed just before the outbreak of WW2, the D.520 first engaged the Luftwaffe in 1940. In August 1937, 84 years ago, the Sukhoi Su-2 (M-82) made its first flight. The Su-2 was a modified variant that featured the M-82 engine, which provided more power.
