[2020] FGR.2 Phantom: AIM-9G's are now necessary. This combination with AIM-9D is historically wrong, it never existed!!

This is incorrect. It can indeed have both.

I have explained several times, we dont plan to introduce a FGR.2 (early) and FGR.2 (Late) in the same way we do not plan to introduce a FG.1 (FAA) and FG.1 (RAF). Therefor their weapons choices are not "time locked".

This is different for example to an aircraft like the Jaguar GR.1 as we have plans to introduce later variants / modifications of this aircraft.

A suggestion was already passed for them. Its down to when the developers decide as of now.
