[2021] [DEV] Major update "Direct Hit" - Preliminary Update Notes - Discussion thread.

Welcome to preliminary update notes for War Thunder "Direct Hit" Update.

Please note all specifications and dev server details are subject to change and NOT FINAL.

Known Bugs:

New vehicles may have inaccuracies in characteristics, armour and weaponry settings.


The armour model for new ground vehicles is “work in progress” for adjustment and improvement.


Some new aircraft lack c*ckpits.


Some ground vehicles lack a visible crew.


There may be a lack of localization for some equipment.


No sound played for some events.


Some aircraft may have inaccu

If it's written "premium", yes it will be premium

After checking, seems like it will be in the standard tree.

Another change, the BV 138C-1 was listed as premium by mistake.

Dev server is making sparks, we'll throw a bucket of water on it and see how it goes.

It does not have the "wrong placement". It is where it is currently intended.

GR.1 wont have flares. It never had them IRL and it was an error it had them on dev.
