Re.2006 does not meet the criteria required to enter the game since 2019. Efforts should be focused on finding more suitable vehicles that actually flew.

Unfortunately we cannot invent aircraft for Italy that did not exist. But other options are being considered from the available aircraft they did actually have and use. But in many cases, Italy simply didn't have an F2G or P-51H counterpart.

Some nations simply did not create as many aircraft as the USA, UK, USSR and Germany during the WW2 period. We cannot bring them all to the same level as those nations, particularly when "direct counterparts" in many cases don't exist. As mentioned above, we will continue to explore viable options, but the Re.2006 is not one of those currently.

Added in 2014, 5 years before the policy change.

Kikka as a whole flew. Re.2006 did not. Again added before 2019.

Feel free to submit a historical report with sources to support this claim and it can be reviewed.

Flew.

Also flew.

Every nation is impacted by prototypes that never flew and tanks that never made it before mock-up. You are comparing examples added multiple years ago long before a policy change and only a year after Italy itself was even in game.

The BR system has never worked according to historical factors. Simply how the aircraft perform in game.

Some already have (Panther II, KT 105, Flak 341) others are no longer available (Bf 109 Z, J6K) and others simply don't have any current viable replacements. (R2Y)

This is your personal opinion, which you are entirely entitled too. However we are not going to remove an entire tree because of your personal opinion, which not everyone shares.

So if we could please stick to sensible feedback and not random over the top nonstarter suggestions.

Maus was not removed for being unhistorical.

Those not remove would create even bigger gaps than the one the Re.2006 would fill and that's not a justification to add it.

Suggestions are for players to express their wishes and the community to also add their input. To developers then check them over and give them some thoughts. The criteria for making suggestions and also the current criteria for vehciles to enter the game are both clear.

All of the helicopters in the Swedish helicopter tree where used and / or tested operationally by Sweden.

The other vehcules you mentioned where from a time before the criteria has changed. Their existence in game does not mean more like them will be added. Particularly as we have started removing some (German tanks) and replacing them where it's possible to do so.

In these cases, the situation is taken into account. However generally not at the expense of paper / incomplete vehicles. Ultimately other considerations may be made from foreign purchased aircraft or aircraft of other nations that fall within the scope of Italy, if credible candidates are found.

almost 2 years ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

Again, having already taken steps to begin removing/ removed paper vehciles, we do not currently plan to add any more.

almost 2 years ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

The aircraft existed and went through some testing. It was already previously avalable and coming back for a short time.

Not sure what relation this has here.

almost 2 years ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

Paper implies never left paper. This was an experimental aircraft. As I said, it already existed in game and is not new. It's back for a short time.

Doesn't change any previous terms on new aircraft, nor mean any new ones will be developed.

almost 2 years ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

The difference being we have never had a Re.2006 and as we have made clear even in the most recent Q&A, we plan to remove other existing ones (R2Y2) from the research tree.

Bf 109Z was an existing premium in low numbers available for a short time. Doesn't equal developing and adding a whole brand new model.

almost 2 years ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

See previous Q&As where we explained how naval is an entirely different case.

Probably around 40-50% of tanks have shells they never used, fired or were in service with. Generally shells are something that is down to the developers discretion to add / remove to balance vehciles. They are not purely based on what the vehciles historically had in their inventory.

It's possible there will be more future variants in consideration. If that does happen, it's also possible that existing versions could change. But right now we don't have any plans to do so.
