[2022] As a US Main, it baffles me that Gaijin is considering adding 4th generation jets this year, without even already having the Mirage F-1 in the game for France.

The update has not been delayed and we have made no announcements that 4th gen fighters are coming this update.

We have already said that a new top fighter for France was and still is our immediate focus for the time being. 4th Gen was said to be in the works, not coming this update.
