This wont need a report. AIM-9L could be fitted to a variety of aircraft in game, but we haven't added it for any yet since its all aspect and would be a huge issue for balance.

Only the GR.1 is competed for the moment, so i can only relay about that (and even then, its not released yet so everything is subject to change).

But for now, GR.1 will have:

SRAAM x 4

1000 x 4

1000 x 3

500 x 4

500 x 5

CVR-7 x 76

Beyond that, its too early to talk about the other variants.

Not related to the Harrier really.

Reports on those maters are open and generaly dealt with when a whole series of bombs are reworked like the US ones were. Same with CVR-7.

Just as a fun fact, for reference photos for the devs, I went to Boscombe down for the c*ckpit and Duxford, Hendon and Tangmere for some outside reference shots

So if you want to see where our Harrier GR.3 began, those museums have 3 examples (and the c*ckpit at Boscombe)

I think it was just a WIP skin copied from the base of the GR.1 at the time. The models were only ready just before the dev server. But yup, they are fixed now

Until better sources can be presented 16G is correct as far as current sources go. Several counter sources also came to light that throw many used in the 18G report into question:

Everyones opinion has been forwarded in feedback. There is no news on it at the moment, hence why there is nothing to be said.

There already is one. The changelog discussion.

SRAAM was demonstrated on Hawkers own company Harrier T.52 G-VTOL (itself a two seat modification of the GR.1 with minor differences) at the request of the ministry of defence on an investigation into its viability. It was also offered to the RAF on in service Harrier models as it was a self contained system that didn't lots required complex avionics. Ultimately SRAAM was canned by a defence review and the RAF were left with the option of simply buying off the shelf Sidewinders for their then Harrier GR.3 which had already begin replacing the GR.1.

The inclusion of SRAAM was to make Harrier GR.1 more appealing as without them, it has no air to air missiles open to use as this was the only one used within its timeframe. We have no plans to remove them.

Just to clarify also "in service" has never been a requirement to be in game. If you want to switch to that standard for this case, as the previous post mentioned you then have to delete probably around 50% of the vehicles in game, 50% of shells, weaponry and ordinance and pretty much everything unique and interesting that never even gets to see the light of day anywhere else.

Historical accuracy matters, but first and foremost we are a game and the developers have their discression to make choices on things like payloads and weaponry. Same case with the Swift F.7 guns, same case with Lynx AH.1 having G-LYNXs weaponry that wasn't used in service and many other vehicles in game.

How exactly? What source data do you have that they are overperforming compared to how they historically could?

Or perhaps such a system, given its capabilities was simply so expensive and complex, that it was simply too expensive for the government of the day to see through fully. Plus its development was not entirely lost, but went on to be part of many future projects, including some involvement in ASRAAM.

The missile performs how it historically should as per the best sources available to the public. If you have better information that shows its overperforming, please feel free to present it.

Nobody said they cant have it, but a choice of gunpod was not as necessary for release as air-to-air weaponry that is critical. Someone has already made a suggestion topic on it, so lets see where that goes.

They have literally just been moved up. Once we have seen the data from how they do here, then we can decide if it even needs to go up again.
