It can still use a referral link and has been done in the past. They would do it to gain players via that link of their own. I cant say for sure on this one as I cant find the ad myself yet.

Just to cut short this Challenger demonstrator discussion.
1) We literally just got a brand new CR 2 last update. Dont expect to see another one anytime soon
2) Both the Rheinmetall CR 2 L/55 proposed upgrade and the new 130mm test bed are far outside of the scope of the game for the foreseeable future.
So please take the discussion on them to the correct section
In other words, pick a random famous jet thats a current generation ahead of where we are in game and claim its work is "being started" so when said already likely jet comes much, much later in the future, you can claim it as a "100% accurate source prediction". Seems legit ))
We have quite literally hundreds of models in production, planned out or roadmaped for the future. Its really not hard to guess some things at this stage for what lies ahead.
I know, you understand it. Just amazes me others still believe its somehow "leaks" or "100% accurate".
Enemy team is red
My team is blue
I saw some WWII machines
And more modern ones too.
I am sorry guys, but it's really too early for any hints.
As I already said previously pretty close to 0%. We said in the previous but 1 Q and A., a modernized T-72 was planned for the last update but didn't quite make it. So you can expect that most likely this update. But not T-90.
T-90A is worse than the T-80U and later T-72s.
Nothing we can share on these at the moment. As we said recently, bombers are not the priority for the moment. They present a lot of further issues at high ranks.
Its probable.
Its not an "excuse". We already said it will come in time. The point was, its being over hyped by some as the "savior" when better T-72 variants are far more useful than the first T-90s.
Im not sure how we "constantly give us sub-par T-72 variants" when we have only had 2 and thats because they are the first models in the series. Russia already has lots of tanks from 9.3+ whilst other nations like France, Japan and China were further behind.
Later variants maybe but certainly not the T-90A. We didn't jump from Chieftain Mk 10 to Challenger 2 so the same is true of T-90A.
Trust me when I say the developers are well aware of how much people want any T-90 and it is coming in the future. Just not this update.
This is the case with every vehicle a group of people "want". Mirage, Lightning, M1A2, Apache etc etc.
Everyone has generally differing opinions on what they want and what they view as priority. We have to strike a balance, based on our large audience, feedback, nations played and a plethora of other factors.
0%
You will be waiting a long time since its not coming. Those trees were only "proposals" not 100% confirmed. Lots of the paper aircraft on them were canceled.
Already implemented into the game at the time before the change of plan, Japans only jet bomber, no real viable alternatives available to date.
Back on topic please.
Soon™
Its not coming in this update or anytime soon that is certain, so this isn't the place to discuss it.
Well its certainly not coming this patch or planned for the foreseeable future so please take the discussion elsewhere.
We already said there is no Rank VII aviation this patch, so their cant be Rank VI premiums.
Nope.
No
Guys, we are only on day 1 of the blogs and have just begun. We are not going to keep denying or start confirming things yet.
There are no new nations as we already said.
Wow, that's some next level of a comment on a tank
No, prototype is prototype and why it ends as one depends on many various reasons. Many good machines ended on prototype stage because economy/politics etc.
To be clear, we removed paper vehicles because they were paper. The Somua SM was a fully built and functional prototype, which have always and will always have a home in War Thunder.
Its very clearly not to your taste which is fine, but it was a suggested and requested vehicle by French Tankers.
As we already said, this is the only store pack. Its possible there may be some GE premiums, but not "quite a few" I would say.
Too early to say for now.
As far as im aware it has all its historical loadouts?
Best submitted as a suggestion then with evidence and sources so it can be discussed and voted on by the community in this case. I have not see that one
As we said, it will return at least once a year for research in an event. Its BR wont be changed.
Its too early to give full specifics (we will publish all the terms), but it wont be a build event or marathon. It will just be a rare vehicle you can research for a short period.
Nope. They are, as we made clear, gone for good.
Meanwhile, bugs are fixed on a near daily basis in their hundreds with over 1000+ every major update too: https://warthunder.com/en/game/changelog/
But yes, because 2 have not been, that instantly invalidates the overwhelming majority that have clearly.
Because its often just not the case of having sources resulting in an instant fix. The sources may be flawed, there could be many other factors in play or it may already be an ongoing investigation.
It still doesn't change the fact that many bugs and issues, including key vehicle issues like this are fixed, but go completely ignored because "this one" hasent been fixed yet which instantly means "bug reports dont mean anything" to some people because they overlook the whole changelog and everything that is being fixed because its not whats most important to them.
The vast majority of bugs are fixed, its simply confirmation bias that because "this" report wasn't, the whole system is deemed to not work when it clearly does with the evidence plain to see.
You are welcome to hold your own opinion and thats fine, but its not for this topic.
Not today.
Its been reported and under investigation by the developers. As far as im aware so far, it came down to an Arcade modifier that was applied to the weapon treating it like a pure A2A unlike the other ATGMs. Against air targets it hardly ever worked beyond 8.6km, It was only really evident on stationary or slow ground targets as the missile had more inertia even when the motor technically "stopped".
As I understand it will be corrected with the modifier removed.
Once again, we are just 2 blogs into the update. We are not going to start confirming or denying everything just yet over and over.
I think probably not for tomorrow. Somua came early
But it may change.
Somua. Going to go grab some more coffee
Nope. They remain event only unlocks. Given we just had them on twitch, its unlikely they will be back anytime soon.
Given Britain has just got a brand new Challenger 2 and has had quite the streak of top tier vehicles over the last year I would not expect anything this update in the high tier ground department.
Guys, I fully understand the T-72 hype and discussion, but we seem to once again be drifting back onto the T-90.
Sorry to have to provide the weekly dose of dream crushing, but to reiterate, the T-90 is not coming this update. So im not sure why we have 2 more pages of discussion on it here.
Plenty of places to speculate when and where T-90 will be:
Good idea, maybe remove Mirage and re-add in 2050 also?
We will have more news to share on the matter very soon™
Its not in this update, so its not really relevant here. There is a chance in future maybe.
Its a teaser, not an announcement and it was to coincide with a press release, since its a popular thing in Russian military outfits. Just like how DMM have spesific marketing or the international gaming website Q and As.
I mean we had Dev Blogs on the Italian Fleet when it was known they were coming and the Japanese one, and Swedish Tanks and everything else we do. Not everyone in the whole community is aware they are coming and dev blogs are a good chance to show them off fully.
Not today as I said yesterday. Somua was moved forward.
We haven't officially said what variant(s) are even coming yet. So its the same case.
Every nation gets its share of dev blogs, but in the case of T-72 and its family, its one of the most popular and well known MBTs in history. Of course we are going to show them off as its what a majority of people want to see
As I said above, its not about X tank compared to X tank. We try to show whats most popular and also give all nations a fair shot at blogs as far as possible. But there are also other factors such as when models are ready etc etc.
And yes, T-72, as I said one of the most popular tanks in the world is naturally going to get a lot of promotion as its one of the most popular vehicles.
It was actually also the patch where the Navy was available for everyone.
We do show lots of blogs for lots of interesting machines from across the board. Interesting is also subjective to who you ask.
Naturally yes, from a promotional standpoint we are going to show one of the most popular tanks ever because that very much does make sense from a marketing perspective also.
Its just not possible to show everything and please everyone. So we try to please as wide of a pool as possible.
Regardless, the Arietes are already in game. So this really has nothing to do with the next update.
T-72(s) dev blog and the Tank Biathlon event.
You will find out soon.
Nope. Details will be soon.
As gszabi99 said.
2 T-72.
T-72B
T-72B3 + additional modification in modules.
AFAIK T-72B will not be a top tier.
Italy had quite a lot of content in general in the previous major. So I would scale back your expectations for this one.
Adjustments to RP and requirements are made periodically in reviews through the year. It may not immediately, but may do in time.
Italy got a whole fleet last patch, as well as their most modern aircraft and a host of ground vehicles regardless of what they were.
And as I said, we regularly review and adjust all of those as well as costs. If its not done immediately, then it will likely be done in the next review.
When we have more news to share we will. Its likely you may see some more Italian vessels this update
I didn't say it would 100% be that way. Its too early to say right now hence why I said it may or may not.
Yes.
Stay tuned.
There is no east German T-72 this update. Just to close this case.
Not really. Sometimes a moderator may remove something whilst they wait for clarification from a CM.
This is something from the Chinese client. As far as im aware its not coming here this update.
I was more referring to the whole fleet they just received and the F-104S.
All vehicle types are developed independently. But specifically in the cases of smaller nations, they have a much more finite pool of possible vehicles. So for example when they have patch with a lot of content, the patches immediately after will be much less so for that nation regardless of what type. Otherwise they wont have much to look forward to or go even longer periods without anything.
So the point here was, Italy had quite a lot last update, including ground forces whatever your opinions on them were. So this update, there should be lower expectations for them in general.
Of course as I said, they may have something(s) new in the fleet department to look forward too.
The international client gets far more anyway. Regardless, as I've said, this vehicle is not in this update so it has no place here.
Yes, let me just spoil the whole update 3 blogs in
We have more to show guys. Stay tuned.
PS. Devblog will land soon™
Yes.
Should be today.
Ok, some really nice fact from @FryingTigerWT
Codename of this thing is taken from something out of Ian Fleming's "Thunderball" novel.
Nope.
I did not said it's Thunderball. It would be TOOOO easy.
It's something related with that book.
And it's not Avro Vulcan.
There are no plans for Nuclear Bombs in WT.
How it's related with "Thunderball" Novel?
You need to be able to fly, to land
Nope.
I need to say, that few of you did a great job finding out the origin of the name
GRATZ GUYS!
The Q-5 was debuted in 1965 the same year as the James Bond film "Thunderball", in which bond goes to the Carribean and meets the bad guy in a casino (in the original novel they play Fantan).
It's exclusive info for Forum Thunderers
We have one.
Just because you do not care for Naval does not mean everyone is disinterested in Zara like you.
If all goes to plan, tomorrow should be a pretty nice blog indeed.
Neither of those planes are coming even remotely soon so it's not a question for now and not something for this topic whatsoever.
Nope.
There will be somethings for Sweden, but as we said in the most recent Q and A, its too soon to talk about helicopters for them.
Allow me to ruin your day )))
Its not coming for now.
I think your ball may be defective then.
We are not going to give hints at this stage. As I said earlier, it could change.
The ground and air release trees are your friend
Well its not that I can say.
Oh my bad, I thought it was. Its a surprise on the ground then.
Its neither.
Nope
Nope
Its possible. But not tomorrow.
You just asked me a page or too if Sweden will get something this patch. Weather something gets a dev blog or not really doesn't mean all that much in a lot of cases.
Yeah the magic ball ran out of magic for today
There are basically hardly any viable ones to add.
Dev blog is going to be quite a cool machine(s) too
Because we are able to show some things off. So why not?
As I already said. Nope. They are not coming.
France just received a second variant of what already was one of the best tanks in game. The Leclerc is hardly "suffering" and now there are two of them.
We will expand shell choices in the future if it's needed, but the Leclerc retains an excellent shell already without the need for the F.2 at this exact moment.
183 and 165mm HESH shells were not working correctly. Both should be fixed.
Its possible that in the future some graphical elements may yet be improved, but really we just had a huge overall rework and not much should be expected right now.
So just a single day after the major update, you expect we can confirm anything at all?
Absolutely do not expect to here any details anytime soon for any nation.
None of these things are coming anytime soon at all. So I have no idea why we are discussing these things again already.
Italy has nothing supersonic except the 104 until much later generation aircraft. Indeed there are 104 variants to be explored, but don't expect us to jump a whole generation ahead just because Italy historically lacked aircraft and themselves hardly used much.
Or perhaps once again, we are not here to confirm/deny things all the time. Especially since its been not even a week since the last major update.
Or how about we please dont turn this into a wishlist topic again, after just a single week?
Because you see someone else going off topic, thats not a call for just "Ok well I guess ill do it too".
Again, I really struggle to comprehend why people feel the need for their to be discussion in this singular topic when there is a whole forum, with dedicated sections, topics and discussions exactly for the things you want to talk about.
Fixed Britain !
Certainly with these two, dont expect to see them anytime soon whatsoever if ever at all unless something drastically changes on the information front.
Both at the moment are company demonstrators and there is no reliable information on them at all other than what gun they have. There is no proof their turrets are also anything more than weighted test turrets and no information about armoured protection at all.
