[2023] Paying with wallet and GJC both

Hi. If you open the Gaijin Store via Steam, you can only pay with Steam wallet. You can't mix Gaijin Coins and Steam wallet in the same purchase.

You can however replenish Gaijin Coins with Steam wallet.

Hi, I just stumbled upon an issue with purchases through Steam and I'm wondering if it's a problem on my end.

It used to direct me to Store.Gaijin.net with the special version where I could pay with Steam wallet fund. Just now it seems to be impossible and the pop-up Steam browser only displays my main page, which is the default google.com main page. Is there a way I could access the Steam wallet version of the gaijin store so I could buy something, or should I merely wait for potentially a fix for the matter?

Hi that shouldn't be the case, it opens normally for me. Have you logged in through Steam?

Update to my most recent thread:

I just found a workaround - spam it but at the right timing. It opens not just Google for me but also another tab of the Gaijin store IF I press shift-tab to call the Steam Overlay prior to the automatic pop up. A weird bug indeed, but at least it's resolvable

Hi we believe this is happening because under Settings > In Game in the Steam overlay, the option "Restore my previous browser tabs when starting a game" is turned off. Please turn it On and the issue should go away. Thanks.

This is totally correct. I just checked the setting and that was indeed the case, and the problem is resolved completely when I turned it back on. Many thanks!
