[2021] Why Italy still lacks a high tier ground striker and a top tier aircraft?

Japan and Italy are in different situations. Whilst Japan has quite a few more options for the future, the F-104S ASA is pretty much one of Italy's only options for a domestic high rank aircraft. We don't plan to introduce it ahead of time without some of its key and defining features. Other aircraft for Italy are planned. The F-104G is one of those that was suggested and requested.

We are also not going to introduce it with its full weponary that is far ahead of anything else currently. No matter how "close" some perceive it to be.

The Devs have considered the suggestion but currently decided against splitting the F-104S as all it results in is actually taking away from the current aircraft worsening players experience with it and offering nothing new or unique except more to research when it can easily be a single aircaft defined by a module.

Splitting the plane into two presents no real positive option. Even more so with the F-104G being present now.

Italy has only so many jets that can be added. Adding them all on top of each other is not a good idea.

It was made clear at the time it would not come with the F-104S.
