In February 1944, 77 years ago, the Cromwell Mk V first appeared. Successor to the Crusader tanks, the Cromwell Mk V was built to the "Final Specification", featuring an all wielded construction and a 75 mm gun. In 1977, 46 years ago, the first prototype of the FlaRakPz 1 was built. The vehicle was a combination of the Marder IFV with the French-German Roland missile air defense turret.
