No second aircraft for this event.

Having the Marathon in August with 2 aircraft and then just last week with the Battle of Britain event, pilots have had an extra treat too recently

But we do understand there is always a range of things people want to see. As per last year, this crafting event will have 4 total vehicles. 2 have been shown and 2 remain.

As for the 262, its not been written off entirely, but its also not coming anytime soon.

Where exactly?

Nobody said anything about that to my knowledge.

It was said that it was probable, not a definite and it would come at some point. Thats not conformation that it will come and nothing to do with this event

As I said, early next week we will show the other vehicles. So you need only wait until then.

We do also have event vehicles around the year for other nations too. Britain for example is not that far behind in terms of numbers what the USA, USSR and Germany has had over the past couple of years.

The issues surrounding the other nations such as Italy, France, Japan, Sweden and even more so China is they have a much more finite pool of vehicles to add anyway, let alone for event vehicles. Every one we add as an event vehicle takes away the possibility of it being a researchable one, regular premium or store premiums that are more readily and widely available than event vehicles.

Often a prototype or short run examples are produced that are often more useful and productive to go into the main tree, then other times, people find exceptionally obscure examples that would theoretically be great for events, but then it turns out next to no information is available to model, create and replicate them in game.

USA, USSR and Germany are the 3 most played nations and historically have the largest vehicle pool available, thus its only natural they are going to get more vehicles both researchable and in events than other nations. But we have indeed seen past examples of almost all nations and will continue too.

This is exactly the point. We are indeed adding vehicles for all nations in events, as you rightly pointed out with the AUBL and Freccia. The point was, nations such as Italy are never going to have the same amount of event vehicles as a nation like the USA. Most of Italy's vehicles are far more valuable for the main tree where the USA is now at a stage in the opposite situation and with a much larger pool of possible event vehicles to choose from.

But its worth pointing out, adding all the AUBL and Freccia's in the world are not suddenly going to make Italy more popular than for example the UK tree overnight. Event vehicles are limited time collectables. Players that join after them or those that dont take part likely wouldn't get them except for a post event market purchase, so they have hardly any impact on the "popularity" of a nation.

Britain has had several event vehicles in the last year alone and is not that far behind Germany, most recently with the Battle of Britain event too. HMS Tiger just last year was and still is one of the best event ships available so far.

Its not possible to fill each and every nation with each event. Not simply just because its about ticking boxes per nation, but more because models can take anything up to a year to create. So we cannot for example just cancel a planned event because X nation does not have anything close or even applicable available.

They do indeed. All nations in the last year (with the exception of China and Sweden being the newest nations to the game) have had at least 2 event vehicles each in some form.

We are in regular contact with museums and consultants all the time, but thats not the only factor required to get something in game. A museum may very well be useful for a reference photo (assuming the vehicles survive) or a rare document, but there is far more required to actually create vehicles than just that. Nations like the USA, USSR and Germany are always going to have more vehicles available and with far more information available in almost all respects, that its not simply about "just go to a museum and problem solved".

Once again, particularly for nations like France and Italy, there vehicles are more scares as it is and adding the few useful vehicles as limited/rare event vehicles does not help their popularity at all.

Suggestions are always welcome in the suggestions forum and the devs are aware of many of the ideas put forward in the process. But once again, its not simply about finding an image or wiki page. Modelling, creating and replicating a vehicle takes far more than that and what may seem "fine" for general information often leads to a total lack of proper source material to create.

Other nations also get event vehicles over the year too. Its not a lie that the smaller nations do indeed have smaller vehicle pools available to them in terms of overall content to add, let alone also taking from that for event vehicles, but even then every nation has had at least 2 event vehicles over the last year (excluding China and Sweden).

Events are also supposed to distribute interesting and popular machines that the largest amount of people actually want wherever those vehicles will be. Vehicles like the Merkava are some of the most popular event vehicles we have, so its a logical choice for example over something that probably only a couple of hundred people have even heard of and those that dont either wont bother or maybe just for collectors.

We have events all year round of different sizes and scales. Im sure the Battle of Britain event with a Hurricane up for grabs was more your cup of tea for example

You could throw as many event vehicles and repair cost changes as you liked at some nations, it simply is not ever going to make them as popular as the USA, Germany and the USSR both by demographics and general interest.

Some of the most popular and most played vehicles en mass are things like the Tiger and T-34. Thats never going to change no matter what sort of vehicles are added, because of the following those vehicles have.

We have indeed. Most recently with the Freccia. A very nice ship for sure.

Its also important not to mistake a temporary burst of people playing an event vehicle they just got for long term meaningful popularity increases. Changes such as the more recent addition of several M4 family variants as well as the M18 did more to boost Italy than that.
