[2020] Etendard IVM

Both are in queue along with several other loadout expansions and matters under review.

F-104 can also use Sparrows with its guns too for example, which is also in queue.

Unfortunately, based on the current sources, its not entirely proven. Something more solid is needed. It describes it more as toss bombing than an actual CCIP featured on other aircraft.

Im a bit confused why a pre-series would even be brought up then since we only have the IVM in game?

Im aware of that, but that was my point. Why are we even contacting Dassault over a pre-production aircraft then? When we have the IVM in game.

Devs are currently reviewing these sources and some of the other newer ones submitted.

There is insufficient information that currently proves the Etendard had a clear CCIP/RP system. Only a basic bomb toss computer which several aircraft in game also have IRL but do not have CCIP. We have mentioned this several times in the past and made clear if more (new) information that clearly defines an operational CCIP/RP platform on the aircraft, then we can forward this to the devs for additional review.

Any and all documents can be considered when properly submitted via reports. This is a discussion topic. Not a report.

We have relayed the previous answers from the Devs and if someone wishes to challenge that, we can indeed do so via a report.

I have already explained why the old report was closed and not accepted by the developers. You are free to submit a new one if you wish too.

We dont have an answer from the devs on that, hence why one has not been provided.

We already have raised the Etendard issues for review again, however in the run up to the previous update, the developers were considerably busy with the Israeli tree as it was a very aircraft heavy patch.

Now it's Russian Christmas/NY holidays.

No additional source material has been submitted, so there is no real change to the matter for the time being beyond explanations of the existing known material.

The Etendard was given CCIP for its bombs and rockets some time ago. The reprorts were spesific on CCIP. The Etendard was given this based on the SAAB AX 26 mentioned in sources, not the BT9.

The question of the A21 CCRP is still being decided. Initially it was not going to receive it, then that changed this morning. It may well change again after more information is reviewed.

To clarify we do not have information on all the required functionality and some information is still lacking which is why it has not been implemented. It's clear it's not a standard search and track radar but more like a niche Gunsight radar that displayed limited information through the HUD. How that information is displayed and the practical effects of it in game are still unknown.

As I said, the Etendard already got it's CCIP based on what was reported in its original reports. Which is the most useful and usable function anyway. The A21 is still under question.

If it stays, the the Etendard likely may get it. But it's not clear at this time if the A21 will keep CCRP.

We have the whole manual and have dissected it, however a lot of the functionality as I have explained to you in the past is not explained in as much detail as required. I also responded to you in full with the type of information need to clarify the matter, as was provided on the F-104S ASA radar.

Right now however, based on all the information we have, the radar would be little more than a radar gunsight of kinds with a few questions still to answer for its capabilities. But we have some addional material with better understanding still to check.

We've had a breakthrough recently with some material and the developers understanding of how it functions, so after it's been checked out. We may well have a conclusion to the matter soon.

A few things are still not entirely explained as I said above, but at the least a compromise might be possible.
