[2022] PINNED: [UPDATE] Status of Chat in War Thunder

As many of you have noticed, Chat in War Thunder has been disabled. It will be returned at a future, currently undetermined date.

We [Moderation staff, volunteers] have been asking for updates and for chat to be returned ourselves. Currently there is no information to share.

Please stop creating threads about chat returning. We routinely pass these wishes forward regardless of the volume of threads created.

If there is an update regarding chat, it will be published here.

Battle chat is now available again for both teams. Please be advised: to avoid violations of the communication rules, there is a message send delay that is set equal to 30 seconds. We will continue to monitor the situation, and, if the number of violations in battle chat increases, we will have to disable it again.[forum.warthunder.com]
