We celebrate a wonderful date - November the 1st is the 10 year anniversary of War Thunder!
November 1st, 2012, War Thunder moved into open beta, this is the day we consider as the game’s birthday. We have walked a long and glorious path, and we are happy to have you with us all the way!
We have prepared many activities, discounts and other great stuff. War Thunder welcomes you in a special anniversary hangar, like never seen before. B-day discounts will be there for a whole week with no rotation, so you’ll be able to purchase everything you ever wanted for a nice price!

Take part in the “Dreams come true” event to get special decals, decorations, a special loading screen and the unique 38 cm Sturmmörser SPG!
The 38 cm Sturmmörser self-propelled gun, better known as the Sturmtiger, is a German SPG built on the chassis of the Tiger heavy tank. This vehicle was designed for urban battles: its 380mm rocket mortar is capable of destroying buildings and fortifications. The Sturmtiger can swipe almost any vehicle on the battlefield, but be aware of its long reload time and tricky ballistics!!

- You can score the mission points in the following game modes:

- You may score points on any vehicle of rank III or above, as well as any prize vehicles of any rank from War Thunder special events. Check the vehicle info card to learn from what special event it was first introduced to the game.
- Points multiplier depends on the gaming mode and the maximum BE of your vehicle setup, and is listed in the mission’s description.
- Track your progress through stages by clicking your nickname, Achievements→ War Thunder Anniversary → 10 rare vehicles.
- The vehicles get to the account immediately after achieving a stage.

This giant is a welcome guest at any birthday party! Meet the Maus[wiki.warthunder.com], a legendary German heavy tank! You will be able to research it and purchase it for Silver Lions while the Anniversary party is on!
- To start researching the Maus, you have to have rank V of the German ground forces open.
- Assign your Research Points from battles, or convert the free experience to the researching of the Maus while the special event is going. If you started your progress, it will not be disabled after the special event is over, and you'll be able to finish researching any time later.
