In 1962, 59 years ago, the Object 906 appeared for the first time. The Object 906 was to be the successor of the PT-76; featuring newer technology, a better engine, and an 85 mm cannon. The Spitfire F Mk 24 first flew in 1946, 77 years ago. The Mk 24 was the last land-based variant of the illustrious Spitfire.
