[2022] Is there a way to make Gaijin's War Thunder compatible with Steam without redownload

Add WT to your Steam Library.

Start Downloading and pause it (so Steam create proper WT directory).

Copy all the files from your War Thunder directory straight into Steam War Thunder directory.

Restart steam. It should check files and download what's missing.
