[2022] Soviet 4th generation fighters - where will they be placed in the tech tree?

Whilst its too early to discuss the specifics of what aircraft will be added in the future of any tree at the top rank, its very unlikely that a whole line or series of aircraft will come at once for a singular given tree outside of a new subbranch or specific development inside of an existing tree.

To that end, its possible that as singular aircraft of any series are added, they may well go on the ends of existing lines of trees in game, unless its decided that the research progression does not suit the surrounding vehicles, or reaches a point where there are enough vehicles to potentially start a new line in the tree by breaking it down from one line to two. However this is both situational and dependant on how many vehicles are added. As new aircraft are added over time, then the chances of positional changes or tree reworks increases.

However at this time, any changes of that kind are too early to speak about and there is no immediate need to structurally change the Soviet air tree given its current line-up. As new vehicles are added over time, then considerations will be made and suggestions of course reviewed. So as / when that is, it will be more appropriate to discuss it then.
