All weponary additions are subject to balance.

Its possible the MLD will launch without R-60M and then they could be added later if called for. But it's not fully decided.

What about them? They are inferior aircraft and as we already explained, added because the MiG-23M was the bottom of its BR. The MLD is a much better aircraft.

As I said, its not final yet if it will or wont on launch and even if it doesn't, it doesn't mean they cant be added later.

We have been passing all opinions on the matter to the developers ever since the discussion began. There is no need to re tag me every new post.

As explained previously, due to the improved performance, countermeasures and R-24 on the MLD, the developers decided in order to retain balance, the current deployment was balanced in line with other 11.0 aircaft. We will continue to monitor both feedback and the statistics in the meantime.

The comparison to the Draken is also not quite the same. As it had only RB24 (AIM-9B), nothing else and was Sweden's only top tier. Meanwhile there is already the MIG-23M and 27 with R-60M and now the MLD with superior performance in almost every respect along with also R-24. It's far better to have the ability to improve loadouts later rather than release something too powerful from the get go that disrupts balance too much and causes further complications.

I wasn't talking about th J 35A, I was referring to the J 35D not the A. J 35D launched only with RB24. RB24J was added later.

The MiG-23MLD is currently the highest aircraft in efficiency at Rank VII. Whilst it remains as the top performer, it is in absolutely no need of any better weaponry or loadouts.

R-60M was not introduced for this exact reason.

Whilst it remains the top aircraft, it will not be receiving R-60M as its current loadouts are evidently more than sufficient.

Unfortunately, that's not the truth of the situation.

The MLD is currently the top of the stats for Rank VII.

Perhaps on paper, but in actuality all of them are behind the MiG-23MLD.

The MLD is currently the best performing aircraft of Rank VII. Regardless of what reason or opinion you have on why that is, it is currently in no need of any better weaponry.

Repair cost has nothing to do with the gameplay balance of a vehicle. Repair cost is related to the economical earnings of the aircraft.

It is entirely illogical to give what is already the best performing Rank VII aircraft even better missiles and weaponry no matter how they are performing on other existing aircraft. If the MLD is already top as it is, it does not need to be pushed even further ahead.

Once again, this is not how repair costs are changed. They are not manually adjusted to limit how frequently or infrequently something appears. They are a direct result of the economical earnings of the specific vehicle. If the MLD proves to have high earnings in the next economical review, then it will increase, if not it wont. It functions the same for all vehicles and is not artificially manipulated for game balance, but a natural reflection of the vehicles economics.

Thunderskill is not representative of the actual stats or player numbers/values.

As we have also previously stated, if / when things change, then additional loadouts will be considered. That is however not going to happen over the New Year / Russian holiday period which you will no doubt know from previous years is a period of developer downtime every year.

We have passed all feedback on regarding this

over 1 year ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

Your quoting me from over a year ago my dude. Quite a lot has changed since then. Not sure why you are try to apply a 2021 answer to a 2022 change.

over 1 year ago - Smin1080p - Direct link

Of course. We have already said the R-73 will eventually be added when the time is right and the needed code work is also done, just like at the time we said the same about the R-60M for the MLD. At the point where I gave this answer, it was quite the dominant force. Now not so much. So it's the time for it to at least receive that.

Things can always change.
