Video of testing Corpus Banes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUmTCDpX5Dc

Prisma Grakata, unmodded except for Primed Bane of Corpus. At 0:48 you can see it deal 24 damage non-crit on the shields of a Prod Crewman. When said Prod Crewman was corrupted, there was a 16 damage non-crit on its shields instead.

On a Corrupted Crewman (Strun wielders, not a fissure-corrupted Crewman), it dealt 16 damage non-crits on the shields as well.

Followup test on Corrupted Banes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9sZAt4EKQE

Same Prisma Grakata, unmodded except for Primed Bane of Corrupted.

At 0:40 a Crewman is slash procced for 5 damage per tick, after corruption the slash tick damage becomes 8. Damage against that Crewman's shields was also 16 non-crit before corruption, 24 after corruption.

Sorry, you're right -- I'd been streaming for nearly 5 hours and needed food so I didn't check as thoroughly as I should have.

I just checked the code and evidently it tracks two factions: the current and original faction and the AI view only shows one.

I added logging to triple check what faction it was using for damage calculation and tested a Corpus fissure mission; as far as Bane mods were concerned:

  1. Before corruption they were Corpus
  2. Corpus after being corrupted were Corrupted (it overrides both)
  3. Enemies teleported from the void were Corrupted

Thank you for catching my mistake -- next time I should take a break for lunch!
