| 817s | we're really excited that Tenon is going |
| 819s | to be the big 1999 you know reveal and a |
| 822s | lot uh is going to be coming for that |
| 824s | but we'll give you a little bit of info |
| 825s | along the way just so you can kind of |
| 827s | you know ease yourself into what can be |
| 829s | a you maybe an unknown year maybe you |
| 832s | were born in the year 2000 which is |
| 833s | entirely possible because you would be |
| 836s | 24 you missed 999 one of the greatest |
| 839s | years yeah we're going to educate you on |
| 840s | the greatest year of 1999 I first being |
| 843s | everyone's hot in 1999 there was no such |
| 846s | thing as um not being a cool guy was all |
| 850s | cool people and this uh piece is done by |
| 853s | lier in isuka and this was the first |
| 855s | ever uh attempt internally to really |
| 859s | figure out a way that a 1999 character |
| 862s | could exist on something that we've |
| 863s | already you know existed with for so |
| 866s | long Excalibur the base frame the art |
| 869s | for it you know Jeff minky back years |
| 871s | and years decades ago had this this this |
| 874s | Arthur I mean sorry this Excalibur and |
| 876s | then we wanted to put ourselves in a |
| 878s | place where we could put a face to that |
| 880s | character and what does that mean who is |
| 882s | this character and how does it relate to |
| 884s | 1999 uh this was the version we we |
| 886s | landed with so we wanted to get you know |
| 888s | the '90s little hoop earring a little |
| 890s | bit of a a '90s aesthetic hairstyle and |
| 893s | then you'll of course learn all about |
| 894s | Arthur at the 1999 Tenon this year as |
| 899s | well as a little bit already based on if |
| 900s | you've played Whispers in the walls and |
| 903s | yeah and then as we saw in that little |
| 905s | trailer we |
| 907s | introduced our second Proto frame and |
| 909s | that's |
| 910s | AE that's right uh liger stepped up to |
| 914s | the challenge of taking another very |
| 917s | iconic character of mag and finding a |
| 920s | way to integrate all of our look rules |
| 923s | our world building and our styles for |
| 925s | 1999 what a Proto frame of what you know |
| 928s | is mag as what 1999 knows of zoi uh what |
| 931s | would that look like what are her quirks |
| 933s | what can we do with her art style and |
| 936s | you know there's lots more to see here |
| 938s | from the ye old uh 1999 I won't spoil |
| 942s | anything other than that but this is two |
| 944s | of the concept works that we did for the |
| 946s | characters and of course there wasn't |
| 949s | just characters in that teaser there |
| 951s | wasn't for the first time we showed you |
| 954s | what we call the atami cycle and it's |
| 957s | actually concepted by the stug here |
| 960s | that's right if only the stug could just |
| 964s | pour out their love |
| 966s | and talk about these wonderful for |

| 994s | love me a good low riding Chopper throw |
| 997s | me in the in the biker gang with 10 |
| 1002s | bandanas to the dollar and I'll be |
| 1004s | cruising around the streets but then the |
| 1007s | boss lady told me give me a gosh darn |
| 1009s | crotch rocket and make it fast kiddo and |
| 1012s | next thing I knew I had to look at the |
| 1014s | Silhouettes of these gosh dang crotch |
| 1016s | rockets and that's came up with this |
| 1021s | whoa |
| 1022s | whoa what's here stug what's here stug |
| 1027s | well as you can see there's a little bit |
| 1029s | of tinkering maybe from a crazy old |
| 1032s | Maurice H and the gear shaft was really |
| 1036s | something I wanted to get a glaive |
| 1038s | silhouette in and The Handlebar I wanted |
| 1040s | an upper posture and um Nikita you know |
| 1044s | the rest from here of course this is |
| 1046s | like a first language for you obviously |
| 1049s | yeah I know there uh I I know so much |
| 1052s | about bikes that's why I didn't design |
| 1054s | this one yeah yeah big bik guy over |

| 3324s | is on all the consoles the the cap of |
| 3326s | enemies is always lower so now that we |
| 3328s | have crossplay and it's so prevalent if |
| 3331s | the host ends up being console you end |
| 3333s | up with less enemies which you know it's |
| 3335s | less fun and less drops and all that so |
| 3338s | uh we can actually change it now that |
| 3340s | we've tested enough and it also was very |
| 3342s | good because it allowed us to find a few |
| 3344s | problems with performance that we could |
| 3346s | fix along the way so yeah this is very |
| 3348s | much a bouquet of Q in terms of AI count |
| 3351s | and because we know this we have a |
| 3353s | perennial um tab basically of as the |
| 3357s | life cycle of other gen consoles goes |
| 3360s | down we'll continue to review and |
| 3361s | increase and make changes based on those |
| 3363s | things so yeah want keep Warframe going |

| 3368s | quality of life is we are reviewing the |
| 3370s | necrom acquisition improvements in terms |
| 3372s | of someone getting their first necrom |
| 3374s | what is that experience like uh you know |
| 3376s | maybe moving some uh resources around so |
| 3379s | that the resources that you're crafting |
| 3380s | your first necrom are the ones that you |
| 3382s | can actually get firsthand instead of |
| 3384s | ones later on so we're just reviewing |
| 3386s | that process proc and seeing kind of |
| 3387s | where we can make some few tweaks to get |
| 3389s | necrom X in your hands a bit sooner and |
| 3392s | then debt Bond Improvement yes yes yes |

| 3398s | them we were just looking at ways to |
| 3400s | continuously improve the early game |
| 3402s | grind uh we are making medical debt |

| 3567s | effects this is where I we get to sit |
| 3570s | back let's preface this with please pay |
| 3572s | attention all right kids classes in |
| 3575s | session noads out Pablo okay so this is |
| 3579s | a long one um let me start by saying |
| 3582s | that we have this hasn't gone through |
| 3584s | play testing we're still experimenting |
| 3586s | with things so a lot of what I'm going |
| 3587s | to talk about might and very likely will |
| 3591s | change so uh yeah this is a long one so |
| 3595s | let's start with what are we trying to |
| 3597s | solve uh we're trying to solve several |
| 3599s | things so this this kind long one I want |
| 3600s | to start with armor so armor scaling has |
| 3604s | been like a wall that you hit eventually |
| 3607s | as enemies level up uh you get to the |
| 3609s | point where essentially if you don't |
| 3611s | have armor stripping the game becomes |
| 3614s | kind of like you cannot kill enemies so |
| 3617s | uh we have an image asset yeah thank you |
| 3621s | that's okay lot of assets there it is so |
| 3623s | here's an example this is actually you |
| 3625s | know relative L low level compared to |
| 3628s | like deep archimedia or what you can get |
| 3629s | on the circuit but it's a level 200 |
| 3631s | heavy gunner uh so you can see that it |
| 3635s | has 10,800 armor uh by default then you |
| 3638s | apply 10 stacks of corrosive on it and |
| 3641s | it gets down to |
| 3642s | 2,163 and its damage reduction that's |
| 3645s | how much of your damage gets kind of |
| 3647s | nerfed went from 97% to 87% so even |
| 3651s | though you took out 80% of its armor its |
| 3654s | damage reduction only went down by |
| 3657s | 10% so because of this it means that you |
| 3660s | know for a lot of you uh armor strip is |
| 3663s | either like 100% armor strip or no armor |
| 3666s | strip and you never want even 90% |
| 3669s | because that 10% left over because of |
| 3671s | the way armor scales it ends up not |
| 3673s | being good enough so basically we're |
| 3676s | going to change this a lot uh and the |
| 3679s | first change is that now armor is going |
| 3681s | to have a cap this is for enemies only |
| 3683s | to be clear this doesn't have anything |
| 3685s | this is no effect on on tenno but for |
| 3687s | enemies now they will have a cap as a |
| 3690s | Maximum Armor that they can have so |
| 3693s | right now we're experimenting with 2700 |
| 3695s | which essentially gives them 90% damage |
| 3698s | reduction but again like I said earlier |
| 3701s | you know this is very early so those |
| 3703s | numbers might still change um so with |
| 3706s | the 2700 that means once you actually |
| 3708s | strip even if it's just a 50% strip now |
| 3711s | it's actually valuable because that |
| 3713s | damage reduction will change a lot we |
| 3715s | are also changing the way that that |
| 3717s | equation of the damage reduction is |
| 3719s | calculated sorry this is this is math so |
| 3722s | you know I'm sorry if you guys fell |
| 3724s | asleep for this part but essentially |
| 3726s | right now what happens is that uh armor |
| 3728s | calculation is very bottom heavy the |
| 3731s | first 50% Dr you gain from 300 armor and |
| 3735s | then the other 50% you gain from 300 up |
| 3739s | to Infinity so because that is very very |
| 3741s | bottom heavy uh basically we're changing |
| 3744s | that calculation so it's a little more |
| 3746s | spread out again that's just math but |
| 3749s | basically what's going to happen like |
| 3750s | the effect for you should be that you no |
| 3754s | longer feel that armor strip is |
| 3757s | mandated on High level obviously it's |
| 3759s | still super good because obviously if |
| 3761s | you take out 90% Dr you're basically |
| 3764s | making your damage 10x bigger so it's |
| 3766s | really good still but hopefully it |
| 3769s | doesn't feel mandated and also partial |
| 3772s | armor strip now should be more viable |
| 3775s | those are the main two things that we're |
| 3776s | trying to to address with this armor |
| 3778s | change now obviously you're probably |
| 3780s | wondering well once you do this want |
| 3783s | enemies just fall apart like a soft |
| 3786s | tissue probably so uh we are actually |
| 3790s | tweaking a little bit the the health |
| 3792s | scaling after so since armor is no |
| 3795s | longer going to scale past a certain |
| 3796s | point we're looking at maybe scaling the |
| 3798s | health past that point not to make it |
| 3800s | equal because making it equal would be a |
| 3802s | crazy number but just a little bit so |
| 3804s | they they are not totally the |
| 3807s | Destro part of that actually let's not |
| 3809s | go to this yet yet oh sorry the just the |
| 3812s | quality of lights or the slide yeah |
| 3814s | there you go uh so once we adjust that |
| 3817s | we also want to tweak the the Corpus and |
| 3820s | the and the infest a little bit so we're |
| 3822s | probably going to buff the the health of |
| 3824s | the infested a little bit and for the |
| 3826s | Corpus once they're P level 70 now |
| 3829s | they're going to start scaling their |
| 3830s | Shield recharge the idea being that |
| 3833s | right now uh the shields almost feel |
| 3835s | like health most of the time because you |
| 3837s | never see them recharging so basically |
| 3840s | from uh now past level 70 if you shoot |
| 3844s | them and then you stop shooting them and |
| 3846s | you should see the shield coming back up |
| 3849s | so that it feels more like actual |
| 3851s | Shields you got to break those Shields |
| 3853s | yeah so hopefully it becomes more of an |
| 3855s | actual mechanic that you care about CU |
| 3857s | right now basically the same build that |
| 3859s | you use for The Greener you end up using |
| 3861s | for the Corpus and the infested because |
| 3863s | there's so much squisher than the |
| 3865s | grineer that it kind of Almost Doesn't |
| 3866s | Matter so because of that we're hoping |
| 3869s | that we're hoping basically to make the |
| 3872s | crazy high level grener and corrupted |
| 3874s | not as hard and then lift up the the two |
| 3877s | factions that are way squishier at the |
| 3880s | moment yes so that's part one of the |
| 3884s | part one of three yeah so part one of |
| 3885s | three and like what we hope you feel is |
| 3888s | that the you know All or Nothing armor |
| 3891s | conversations and builds turns into a |
| 3893s | much more normalized conversation about |
| 3895s | builds strategy quote unquote um you |
| 3898s | know partial armor strip is valuable the |
| 3900s | end yeah armor armor scaling is capped |
| 3903s | the end that'd be the plan now uh skin |
| 3907s | types now is the other image so this |
| 3910s | beautiful graphic which actually I |
| 3912s | messed up when I took it and I have |
| 3913s | alloy armor twice sorry yes um so we |
| 3916s | have 13 types of uh armor of skin types |
| 3921s | which I'm sure you all know by heart I |
| 3923s | do uh and we have 13 types of uh damage |
| 3927s | so that generates this beautiful Matrix |
| 3930s | that you see here with all the different |
| 3932s | types now for the most part our |
| 3936s | experience is that a lot of players just |
| 3937s | don't engage with this because it's so |
| 3939s | complicated that you know what is the |
| 3941s | difference between Shields and Proto |
| 3943s | Shields most people never know because |
| 3946s | the only way to know is to go to the |
| 3947s | Codex memorize which unit has what and |
| 3950s | you know it just doesn't work out really |
| 3953s | uh and some of the numbers are also like |
| 3954s | kind of all over the place like a plus |
| 3956s | 15% you're probably not going to notice |
| 3959s | uh you know but then some are plus 75 it |
| 3962s | also causes some weird issues for |
| 3964s | example sometimes with a midlevel uh |
| 3967s | Lancer if you strip the armor you end up |
| 3970s | doing less damage because you probably |
| 3972s | were shooting with corrosive so since |
| 3974s | corrosive get you a bonus while they had |
| 3976s | armor now because you strip the armor |
| 3978s | you do less damage right so it creates a |
| 3981s | lot of weird things there that doesn't |
| 3983s | really uh don't really add too much so |
| 3986s | what we're doing is we do like we do |
| 3990s | think that it's valuable to have a |
| 3991s | system like this we just think it's so |
| 3993s | complicated that no one engages with it |
| 3996s | so instead of making it each damage type |
| 3999s | uh has a multiplier for all of those |
| 4001s | skin types now it's going to be |
| 4003s | Perfection so essentially you'll have |
| 4006s | for example The Greener are now going to |
| 4007s | be vulnerable too and this this again |
| 4010s | it's all changing but you know something |
| 4012s | like uh corrosive and slash let's just |
| 4015s | say those two so now Greener everywhere |
| 4017s | in the game they're always uh vulnerable |
| 4020s | to those two then similar to that the |
| 4022s | Corpus will have their own which will be |
| 4024s | probably like magnetic and puncture |
| 4026s | let's just say again we're still we're |
| 4028s | still changing all this example purposes |
| 4030s | only for example purposes so you'll end |
| 4032s | up only with the factions themselves |
| 4034s | having a damage type which will help |
| 4036s | because now you can go into the star |
| 4038s | chart I don't know if we have |
| 4040s | that of course I got you so instead of |
| 4043s | having to learn this in the Codex and |
| 4045s | memorize it and all that now when you go |
| 4047s | to the star chart and you hover over a |
| 4048s | note it'll suggest you which ones |
| 4050s | they're strong again those multipliers |
| 4053s | will be 50% so they're good but they're |
| 4055s | also not mandated you you can totally go |
| 4058s | without those if you if your weapon uh |
