[2024] I finally understand why this game is so beloved

So I have played this game in the past, on and off but never really picking it up. The systems were so confusing, the wait times were frustrating, and the feeling that microtransactions were everywhere all together kept me from getting into Warframe. I don't know what changed but I just downloaded it on a whim a little over a month ago and this time something just clicked for me. The gameplay had me hooked, Tennocon 2024 had me excited, and as I progressed the world itself drew me in unlike any other game I've played.

I'm writing this immediately after finally completing The New War questline and I can confidently say I was completely enraptured by it. The grind for the Necramech had me frustrated beyond belief, but the revelations of the Lotus, Natah, and Margulis were all I could think about. When the warning that this quest would last several hours and I would be unable to return to the Orbiter until it was complete, I knew there was something grand in store for me but I didn't realize what an amazing story was about to unfold.

This has been one of, if not my all time favorite video game story I've ever played through. DE absolutely outdid themselves with this, an absolute masterpiece of a story, told in a free to play game about space ninjas. I simply am at a loss for words. I can confidently say they've made me a life long fan of this game and I cannot wait to see what's next.
