We’ve deployed an update aimed at performance and memory improvements, particularly on older iOS devices. While we are calling this a hotfix, it is actually a small CERT update (learn more about what that means here). Depending on your Automatic App Update preferences, you may need to manually update the app.
Fixes
-
Background improvements for memory related performance issues impacting players on older iOS devices.
- We continue to make progress in improving performance across the Warframe iOS experience. If you are still experiencing issues, sharing your game logs is extremely helpful! Here’s how to send error logs to Digital Extremes.
- Fixed Inaros players reviving with no UI.
- Fixed the player’s Orbiter sometimes appearing darker than intended on certain device settings.
- Fixed the Throw icon shown during tutorials not matching the virtual button players see during gameplay.
-
Fixed “Zoom Out” and “Exit” using the same button when using a controller on the Navigation screen.
- This results in attempts to Zoom out on the Star Chart causing the player to Exit Navigation altogether.
Changes
- We’ve included a pop-up message on the launcher that encourages users to download over Wi-Fi, rather than cellular data.
When Warframe updates via the App Store, it must redownload the base install (approximately 3.95GB) which overwrites the previous install. These updates are not adding 3.95 GB to your overall app size.
