I wasn’t a fan of the original MMO concept but enjoyed the combat so it was a no brainer purchase when it went single player.

However, as a mainly SD player, performance is very inconsistent and I don’t think it should be listed as SD verified.

Even locked at 30fps, everything on low, and FSR on (at which point, the game doesn’t look great), I’m still seeing dips below 20fps. In certain combat sections, fps can get well over 40fps, but it’s the dips and inconsistency that ruins playing a fast paced game like this.

Just my two cents. I hope the devs work on a fix.

I played for about 90 minutes on deck last night and the experience was horrible. I had two crashes that required me to force shutdown the deck and wasn't able to consistently maintain 40fps with any combination of settings. Frames also dropped to 20-22 any time a menu was opened.

I'll have to see how it runs on my desktop, but I'm debating refunding until performance is better as I'd hoped to mostly play this on deck. It definitely shouldn't be verified (even though that means next to nothing, as there are a lot of cases like this).

We are aware that some players on Deck are crashing specifically in the Highlands when they pause the game. We have a fix we're currently testing and hope to get it out soon. For the time being we recommend pausing in less dense areas of the highlands or going back to Skylight first. Thank you for your patience.
