I had always wanted the GT Performance edition and now I have one! I loved my old premium, AWD, and recently got HJVBed so it went to a local dealer and I saw the deals. The deals right now are too good. So got a 2023 GTPE for exactly what I pay right now a month, and was able to sell my car for exactly what I owed. A total no brainer.

Did you sell your car or trade it in? You sold it with the HJVB?

Nah the recall was done then sold to the dealer directly.

Nice color!

Thanks! I had the metallic red before and loved it but went with this beautiful shade this time.

Side note: I had the same GTPE but 2024 and Rally edition on order but ultimately decided on saving the 11k for essentially the same car.

$5500 off the MSRP?

Yeah. $7500 for tax credit, $3000 ford cash, $2.5k dealership discount. Was $47,000 OTD.

Not sure how you were able to sell for what you owed, but congrats! I have a 22’ Premium w/extended battery and I’m getting offered $23k. Sticker was $57k. Between the sales tax credit, positive equity on my previous trade-in, and putting my $7500 tax credit down, I am not $30k negative equity, but I’m still about $7k negative and I feel stuck.

I put a good amount of money down on it, but sold it for $28,000 which was what I owed. 🤷‍♂️

Mind if I ask what they gave you for your premium?

They offered me $25 at first when Carvana offered me $28,000. I took the Carvana offer, did all the signings, and the day before they were going to pick it up we had a hail storm… so instead ended up selling to the dealership for 24k and the insurance check makes up the rest.
