I hate to break it to you but so did humans for hundreds of thousands of years across Rome, Egypt, Greece and elsewhere, all until the rise of Catholicism in the 10th century that decided to label it bad.
I agree it's goofy. But a large part of the reason this is important is because people use religion as a source to prove being gay is not natural and against God.
Evidence that animals exhibit same-sex interactions is an argument against this to show it's happening in nature.
Not to mention homosexual behavior didn’t become “abnormal” until the rise of Christianity in the 10th century. Literally all advanced civilizations that existed before then, bisexuality and homosexuality were not even classified bc it was normal.
