Needless to say, I’m low-key freaking out. I booked 4/26-5/3 through JetBlue Vacations. Not sure how hard it would be to change hotels.
The last bed bug reports I saw were from fall 2024. Does anyone have any intel on this?

External link →I have stayed here three times, I’ve never had this issue. I’m not demeaning others but bedbugs can happen anywhere.
Dockside has an even trashier vibe than CB. Marijuana smell in the halls every night. Loud party in the adjoining room every night too with the wall and door being ran into frequently. Could understand their conversations clearly. Housekeeping would shout down the halls to each other. Half the elevators didn’t work.
I’ve stayed at several of the lowest tier hotels in the area and Dockside is louder and trashier than any of them.
I actually agree with this. I’ve stayed at both location and although the clientele at cabana Bay might be a little bit trashier than say, Sapphire Falls I don’t think it’s as bad as dock/surf side.
