Just started playing yesterday. From what I'm actually able to experience, its appears to be a fun game with good potential.

It seems like I'm able to explore the open world and common areas without issue, as I haven't been kicked from these areas thus far...BUT...

The instanced dungeons, which I've been running solo without matchmaking on, always seem to kick me after some period of time elapses. The only dungeons I can complete are ones that i can clear very quickly. Otherwise, I'll get partway through and just be booted back to the title screen with the "KICKED http failure" message. I don't mind a d/c once in a while, but the constant lost progress is incredibly frustrating to the point where the game feels unplayable.

I saw a post saying to set my DNS to 1.1.1.1, so I tried that and it hasn't helped. I also saw a post for using a VPN from 4 months ago, but i cant imaging that will help - maybe I'm wrong.

My two friends I play with don't ever have this issue. Trying to see how many others are experiencing this...?

HTTP failure is a general connection issue where you can’t get to our servers. It’s something we’re investigating but the DNS does solve it for a lot of people.

The 14% load issue we are aware of and planning a fix after the holidays. The game is basically trying to send you to a server that doesn’t exist.

Thanks for trying our game and sticking with us during EA. Our teams will be on it first thing in the new year.

Hey! A friend of mine is stuck with the Tutorial quest, he got disconnected while doing it so now he's in Skylight but can't progress. At the start of this week, he sent a ticket to support and I believe he also sent a message to Snarf on Discord. We are aware that you guys are taking your week off, so we aren't worried about not being responded. Seeing you answer some posts on Reddit, I'm wondering, should I tell him to talk to you on Discord or we are better off waiting for the team to get back , so it is properly solved?

Sorry that happened. Sadly this has to be handled through support. If it isn’t solved in the next day or so, please message me but I do not have the ability right now but I can follow up with people.

Hey! I am pretty annoyed with the http failure also. I am using Cloudflare WARP and I am able to play, but without it I can't even play 10-15 minutes, and I have this problem, on 3 different networks.

The thing is that this issue is from the beginning and changing the DNS or using a VPN was a workaround found by players, so is kinda like since this workaround there was no intention in correcting this problem, just saying. And from my point of view me as a player shouldn't have to install any kind of 3rd party software(vpn) or do network config changes(dns) to make a game playable.

We totally agree. Sadly some of the issues you’re encountering are totally out of our control as they rely on the Digital Extremes servers and back end which we had no control over when we launched and now we really have no control over with the DE External Projects team disbanded. Not passing the buck, telling you the honest truth.

As a player you don’t care WHO owns something being broken… you just want to play Wayfinder and we get it. We’re working on a solution now as we continue to transition services. We hope to make meaningful progress when we return next week and we’ll start doing fast smaller hot fixes each week to address performance in the client and on the network.
