Do i need to download anything special (windows/linux) onto the steam deck or I can just download the game like normal on my deck and start playing?

I only had a chance to play for 5 minutes right after the tutorial. Out the box with no tinkering was 30 in main city around people then 45-50 when outside in the field.
I was hoping to read this at somepoint! The hoops I jumped through to dual boot windows and get everything ready 😂 even preloaded

Same! I had to get on a plane then hang in a hotel room and wasn’t sure if it worked so had to get it on my laptop and lug that with me just in case!
