Since Grendel's Whirlwind is a meter based ability, meaning that the CD is dictated by a resource bar rather than a timer, you can take advantage of it to do some insane teamwide healing if you take the Rallying Cry prime node in the talent tree.
Simply use Whirlwind, cancel it by blocking, and repeat. Each time you do this it counts as an ability use, meaning Rallying Cry will scale its heal up on the next use. There does seem to be an innate cooldown on Rallying Cry (about .2ish seconds) so you can't just do this as fast as you can press the buttons, but it still outputs an absurd amount of healing.
