[2022] If Cassiopeia comes to WR, should boots be an optional item?

I am thinking about the fact that boots is a mandatory item. Will they change Cassiopeia's passive, or make boots an optional item and introduce starter items like doran's ring/shield/blade that can be upgraded to an active item? If it's the latter, what item would supports get?

Clarification: Caster supports. I guess doran's ring should suffice? And well, I guess shield would go to tanks. Welp, never mind the last question.
