We released the Chronicle I: Bloodtrail, two months ago; It is now time to shake the meta a little. Our goal is to improve the balancing of Wolcen iteratively with some changes brought to the game every few weeks. The modifications will be supported by your feedback, that our teams are collecting daily on our various platforms and our internal metrics.
Aether Jump:- March of the time devourers: Reduced the Willpower multiplicator from x2 per cast to x1.5. Now also increases the resource consumption time by 0.5s.
Anvil's Woe: - Damage increased by 10%.
- The Will to Crush: Isn't affected by the increase in base damage.
Arctic Spear:- Comet Ballista: Reduced damage from +100% to +75%.
- Sublime Fracture: Damage reduction increased from -10% to -20%.
Eclipse: Gunslinger's Brand: Havoc Orb:
- Damage reduced by 10%.
- Disintegrating Payload: reduced the damage of the smaller explosions by 33%.
Summons (Feeding Swarm, Hunting Swarm, Livor Mortis):
- Improved summons damage from +10% damage at lower levels to +40% damage at higher levels.
- Increased the range before summons run back to the player’s location when in combat from 20 to 25 meters.
- Increased the range before summons teleport to the player’s location from 30 to 40 meters.
Talon shot:- Projectile damage increased by 50%.
- The damage of the explosion is not affected by this modification.
- The quest reward window has been moved to the left side of the screen to avoid blocking vision during fights.
- Globes exploding thanks to the unique chest “Discordant” now have a sound FX.
- Slightly reduced the size of the sparks and the strength of the application of the wind on the sparks of the “Timefault Tracker” pet.
- Fixed an issue where Heimlock could disappear from his arena during the boss fight in Chapter 3.
- Fixed an issue allowing Ondar to be brought out of its narrative mission into other end-game activities.
- Fixed an issue where destroying a ”Corrupted Heart” before the quest feed displays the quest to do it would cause the player to be softlocked during the Chapter 2 quest “Journey Into Madness”.
- Fixed an issue causing multiple "Worthy Enemy" quests to be displayed in the quest feed when launching the “Champion of Stormfal”l mode for the first time.
- Fixed an issue where Ilthain would not be clickable for several minutes when launching the “Champion of Stormfall” mode for the first time.
- Fixed an issue causing the chest part of the Female character to be invisible when equipping a specific Mage Chest armor.
- Fixed an issue where affixes value "-0.x%" would be rounded up to ‘-1%”.
- Fixed an issue where health regen values on item tooltip would be displayed in scientific notation when rounded to 100.
- Fixed an issue where the player would sometimes get soft locked when killing Valeria clone’s too fast during the Chapter 2 quest “Cordial Invitation”.
- Fixed an issue where the key bindings displayed in the tutorial window would not be properly displayed if they had been changed.
- Fixed an issue causing Invincible snipers to be targetable when they should not be during the Chapter 2 quest “Journey Into Madness”.
- Fixed an issue where Sobok would appear slightly after the end of the cutscene during the Chapter 1 quest “The Bane of the Storm”.
- Fixed an issue in the Female character’s animation when casting “Parasite”.
- Fixed an issue causing the player to spawn at the wrong location and then be relocated at the right position after a few frames after the first cutscene of the Chapter 1 quest “The Bane of the Storm”.
- Fixed an issue where the Weapon would not disappear when using “Stings of Krearion” and holding it down.
- The modifier “Pious Supremacy” for “Light bringer” now properly converts Lightning damage into Physical damage.
- Changed the Navmesh in Chapter 3 "Cell-H" area to prevent the player from getting stuck.
- Fixed an issue where the orb displayed when wielding a staff with the Female Character would be displayed during cutscenes.
- Fixed several animations issues for the spectators NPC in “Mercy’s Arena”.
- Fixed an issue allowing the player to walk on the barricade located right behind Ilthain during the Chapter 1 quest “The Bane of the Storm”.
- Fixed an issue where water would not be displayed properly in low graphic settings.
- Fixed an issue causing the footsteps sound and animation to be out of sync.
- Fixed an issue where the tooltip of the “Livor Mortis” Modifier "Corpse Harvest" wouldn’t mention that it dropped a health globe on death.
- Fixed an issue where dying during the Chapter 3 quest “Infiltration” could lead enemies to be there again after restarting the event.
- Fixed an issue where the character could sometimes fall beneath the map during the Chapter 1 quest “No matter the Odds”.
- Fixed an issue where the two last steps of the Chapter 2 quest “Cordial invitation” would be inverted.
- Fixed an issue where the animation of “Avenger Autoturret”’ would be out of sync.
- Fixed an issue where the flag in the background of the Chronicle Main Menu would have no animation in medium and low graphic settings.
- Fixed an issue allowing the player to leave the area of the Chapter 3 quest “Illusions of Peace” without completing the last quest step.
- Fixed an issue where the Navmesh in the “Ossuaries” in Chapter 1 would let the player walk on the skull cliff on the edge of the map when it shouldn’t be possible.
- Fixed an issue where the Chapter 2 quest “Journey into Madness” would display the wrong announcement.
- Fixed an issue where enemies could spawn after defeating The Lambach in Chapter 2.
- Fixed an oversized texture in the “Flesh Frontier”.
- Fixed an issue where no VFX would be shown for the “Winter’s Grasp” modifier “Hail The Ice Queen” buff when using the toxic variant of the skill.
- Fixed several transparency issues with pillars and banners inside of Stormfall.
- Fixed an issue where the weapon would not disappear when using “Havoc Orb” with the modifier “Hailing Devastation” when using the Female Character.
- Fixed an issue where the secondary objective of the narrative mission “The Only Lead” would be displayed after completion when reaching the Lucan fight too fast.
- Fixed an issue where a Secondary Entrance’s VFX could be seen out of bounds at the end of “Defiled Urhan Necropolis”
- Fixed inconsistencies in the tooltips regarding “Toxic damage” and “Poison damage”.
- Fixed an issue where the Projectile's explosion would be delayed if it hit an obstacle or reached its maximum range.
- Wailing Arrows: The "Black Cloud" modifier correctly reduces the cooldown of the skill instead of increasing it.
